The Hand That First Held Mine

I know this was done as book of the month a while back,, but I've just read this and loved it.
I can't recall a book that so accurately portrays the first few months as a new parent, and even tho my DC are teens and beyond it transported me right back to the endless days and nights as a new mother.
I highly recommend this book but be prepared as it made me weep and I am in no way post natal, IYSWIM

Loved it too...'guessed' the ending though. Maggie O' Farrell is a very good writer

Oh good, I've just started this so am looking forward to getting stuck into it.

Made me cry. Really good book.
