I can't be the only one surely though? I didn't like beatrice at all, she irritated me and the ending was pants!Grin

Definitely a book that divides people. I loved it especially the ending. Smile

Lots of people seem to feel the way you do though.

I loathed it too. Probably the joint worst book I have ever read, along with the Da Vinci Code.

I wasn't keen either. But or some reason have bought her new one! Haven't read it yet.

I didnt like it much-the next one was better i thought

MrsSBrown · 07/09/2011 20:58

no, it's badly-written tosh. Had to read it for a book group unfortunately

I was unsure about this one too, I "enjoyed" it, in that I cantered through it, keen to see the outcome, but there was just too many unconvincing coincidences and gaps which frustrated me.

It was recommended to me by the same person who raved about One Day.

Same result. Both books were pretty poor, that's taught me to stop taking that person's recommendations!

I enjoyed it - apart from the ending!

noisymonkiesmum · 12/09/2011 11:38

I really enjoyed it, and was nicely surprised about the ending, but I like easy to read books! One Day was a bit slow and too sad for me. Looking for another....any recommendations?
