Oh, DH has just started reading this to our DS1, too.

I read an interesting piece the other day about how the lion etc isn't very New Testamenty, and is instead pretty pagan, despite Lewis' intent. JC's generally a lamb, not a lion.

I've got DD the book for christmas, the pictures in this version are lovely too.

I have read all the Narnia books and love them (re-read Prince Caspian today)

Cant wait until my boys are old enough to enjoy them too.
