Question is in the title! Are these puzzle books all reception age and up or are any for younger children?

My dd is 3 and loves these so I would say they suit quite a broad age range. She also likes the Usborne Young Puzzle series.

Thanks Bamboo. My son is 2.5 so I'll maybe wait 6 months (or maybe not depending on how desparate I get for entertainment in the winter months). Any particular Usborne ones you would recommend or do they come as a pack?

Thanks (haven't used Usborne before)

yes I would have said three
but make sure they have a very good light source to avoid eyestrain and under no circumstances get drawn in to looking for Wizard Whitebeard or Woof's tail. Not if you want to stay sober of an afternoon

geranium · 29/11/2005 13:56

so Suzy would you recommend any particular titles? And is it obvious what you are looking for in each puzzle?

LOL Suzywong.
THe Book People are doing a good offer on Usborne Young Puzzle Books at the moment. 6 titles for £6.99.

here

geranium
they are pretty much a one trick pony, the Wally books. Anyone should do the trick.

I also recommend getting a toy magnifying glass to aid the proceedings

popsycalindisguise · 29/11/2005 14:38

excellent
that has gone off to santa

geranium · 29/11/2005 19:04

Thanks for your help. I'll definitely invest in these in a few months' time. Also, the magnifying glass although I think that might prove quite a distraction for ds.
