Bumpity bump to the thread and happy 2012 to all - can all those clun members missing in action in 2011 who still want to continue in the clun (dont worry, I've already noted in my little black book those who have already popped up to say they're still here) please sign in to this thread within the next 2 weeks to confirm they still want to be in the clun? I'll rejig the clun on 20 Jan so its all remaining members only sending on and we'll need to fill the book gaps.

I spotted ESP on a thread the other day - wasn't she MIA?

I think I shall have to send on both the books I have and retire from the clun - I'm finding it impossible to give a shit whether the protagonists in MTU's tome live or die and find myself marvelling a the amount of free time Red Army officers seem to have while all around them goes to pieces.

I got a Kindle for Christmas and when I get a chance to read I have been immersing myself in free dross about vampires instead.

Ah Swampy How about if I promise you a short book for next time round in the clun - will you stay in?

Welcome back Clinging - I think ESP is due to rejoin our ranks too. Have PMed JK - lets see if she wants to rejoin. Swampy - you sure you want to desert us for your kindle? C'mon you know there's enough room in your life for books and nutjob-ness in the clun as well as your bright shiny new kindle...

Can everyone who has a book (or 2) let me know - will need to rejig the list so books are sent to 2 different people by those holding 2 so the clun can carry on intact(ish)...

I want to stay but I'm half-way through The Epic and haven't started the next one. I am a failed clunswoman!

I tell you what Swampy - you can have an extra month (until 25 Feb) with one of those books (and send the other one on) if you like - or just send both on and start afresh with a new book this time round. What would you prefer? And you're still in the clun - just distracted by your kindle that's all...

Glad you're in Rufus - Kiwi is "down under" till Feb so whoever she posts on to normally wont be getting a book from her till the Feb swap (25 Feb).

Will rejig list when know who has 2 books (is it just Swampy and Clinging)? I dont have a book - who else has no books at present (Piebald, Calico?)?

The usual rule of the game is you mail the book you have onto the next person on the list (afternoons sends to Bumble) and we all post on line on the 25th of each month to say what we think about the book we've read from the clun that week (no giving book names out):
