Crimson petal and the White

i have just finished this (in 3days!) and feel so let down by the ending.
I hate ambiguous endings.
Having said that I loved it.

its a fantastic book! Ive recently been off work due to an operation and this was a great read, id never normally get chance to read it so quick.

I would recomend reading apple by michel faber, its a collection of short stories about some of the characters from Crimson Petel and the White. Its still leaves you wanting more but its great to meet them all again.

I am just reading it now, about 4/5 the way through maybe. Have been really enjoying it, but I was getting suspicious that the number of pages remaining was not enough to really resolve the story.

Will have to steel myself for a bit of a disappointment then!

Oh my lord I can not describe how much I am hating this book!
I have it on my Kindle and have decided I cannot waste any more of my waking life reading this tosh!
What is there to like? Wooden characters , bad sex, dreadful knowing nods to the readers, dreadful, dreadful, dreadful!
Save your money and send it to charity instead, do not buy this book!!!!!!!!

I have just read The Apple Thinking11, and loved it.
I still want to know more about Sugar and Sophie after Chepstow Villas though!
