I'm going on holiday soon and I'm thinking about loading my kindle with The New Rector and other books in the series.
Has anybody else read these books and if so what are they like?
Are they easy reading as that's what I'm looking for in my holiday reading?

Hi, I took out some from the library a while ago - very easy reading if that is what you want. Books in series follow on with characters etc. Gentle plots, I found just what I wanted at the time I borrowed them.

I've just downloaded a sample onto my Kindle and enjoyed the couple of pages I read.
When I'm on holiday I don't like to have to think too much when I'm reading so tend to leave more meatier books at home!
