It's a crucial part of why I am doing my MA (parental assessments of their child's empathy within ASD) but I may well be asking for to do a Q'naire soon if you don't mind.... ?, anonymous though.

The CE/ EE theory describes ds1 to a tee, big 'wow' moment when I read it. I personally believe that empathy modualtion will come to eb thought of as a key factor in ASD one day rather than the absence of empathy.

Tell me about it! Got fobbed off by Gp yesterday trying to get help for ds2's very obvious ADHD, GP says he can't refer until EP has seem him but that could take longer than he has in Primary and as he ahs had 6 changes of teacher (!!!) this year he is plummeting (Head said get GP to refer, apaprently ds2 is spit of her nephew who has dx).

Got some rubbish about labelling and the DSM and ASD being just wooly anyway.

Argh.

Indeed SWC, next time I will just send DH- depressing how that always works.
