Just noticed this is starting tonight.
I love her books, and am hoping the tv adaptation will do it justice.
So many times tv ruins some of my favourite books, but will definitely give it a go.
Anyone else watching?

I'm going to watch - I like her books too, I'm not sure the guy playing Brodie is quite as I imagined him, - but that's just me. I'm looking forward to it though. Smile

I have this on my 'to read' list and was hoping to get through it before the series started on TV. Flipping life getting in the way of my reading time!

don't think I'll watch, Jason Issacs is NOT Jackson Brodie in my head

I only just twigged that it was THAT Case Histories [wally emoticon] and by coincidence finished the second book this morning. Have ordered the 3rd from amazon to get through it pronto seeing as the 5th and 6th episodes are based on that. Did not want to see it before i had read it iyswim. Am disappointed that the have moved the first one form Cambridge to Edinburgh but we'll see how it works out!

Ugh I certainly won't be watching. I was SO disappointed by this book. Really gripped till about 2 thirds of the way through where it just totally unravelled. I think Kate Atkinson's work in general is very Emperors New clothes. Huge disappointment.

Does anyone know if it is being repeated? Missed last night.......

KurriKurri · 06/06/2011 18:50

CDMforever · 07/06/2011 20:10

Really enjoyed it last nite.
Liked Jason Isaacs as Jackson.
I'm sure DCI Louise Monroe didn't appear till book 3 tho.....

gailforce1 · 08/06/2011 13:38

Thanks KurriKurri, have not used iplayer so will give it a go!
