Is there an eBook sharing club (non-Kindle)? If not, could I start one?

I would love to trade eBooks with anyone. I have over 500 eBooks, mostly in PDF format that I'd be happy to share, and of course, would love to get more to add to my collection!

I'm not sure why you can't join the kindle one. Any books you get in .mobi could be put into callibre and converted to pdf's for you. Have a look at callibre and see?
