I've just read this - I need to write a review, but am posting here so I can come back and see what you think when you finish.

I've just finished this - completely unputdownable in my view. Very original and evocative storytelling.

That English German Girl is vv good although I though t the ending with the child was a little bit too neat

Try The Warsaw Anagrams- just finished it, excellent book set in Warsaw ghetto, bit of a who done it but so well written.
