Just booked our holiday and was wondering if there are any books set in Anglesey or Wales.

Any recommendations?

What sort of books do you like? There are the Alexander Cordell historical family saga type mostly set in southwales I think, How Green Was My Valley?

I think The Welsh Girl by Peter Ho was set in North Wales... I'll have a think!

DH says jack jones' off to Philadelphia in the morning, kingsley amis' that uncertain feeling and Jenny nimmo's the snow spider. Will carry on thinking!

Manda Scott's Boudicca novels are set, in part, on the Isle of Mona, which is Angelsey. The Dark is Rising, sequence is also set in Wales a lot of the time, although these are kids books.

The Fall by Simon Mawer is set in Snowdonia (very close to Anglesey)
