I found myself laying awake in the middle of the night worrying about the character Anna last night. That's got to be a sign of a well written book eh? Sooooo depressing so far though - can't imagine it's going to get any cheerier

I loved Hearts and Minds and didn't think it was as depressing as it could have been when I read it last year.

Just started reading this - really good isn't it?

Have you read the Long Road Home by Rose Tremain - also very good.
