Has anyone else read this? I've just finished it, and I'd like to discuss it. Smile

Did you like it? I have it sitting on a shelf.

Pamuk is about to open (opened?) this Museum of Innocence in Istanbul, with various objects from the book and many more relating to the history of Istanbul.

Yes, I did like it. I had it for a couple of years, and its sheer size was offputting. It's terribly sad throughout - I felt quite melancholy when I was reading it. It's beautifully written (or translated) and although nothing really "happens" I found it a real page-turner.

I have a questiona about something that happens near the end, so hurry up and read it so I can ask you! Wink

I read about the actual museum - I think it's opening in Spring this year.
