Just wondered if anyone could recommend a good book they have read lately.

Am off to the library tomorrow and want to get back into reading again, something I have not done for awhile since having the children.
Used to love reading biographies and would like to get into modern fiction but not sure what authors I should be looking out for.
Please could anyone recommend something.

Da Vinci code.Dan Brown. Couldn't put it down-I love travelling stories. Also just read Alison's Diary- very funny, about a Scottish Radio DJ who fell pregnant after a drunken fumble. Women of No Importance- was quite good too, about a first time mum and her observations.

I just read a million little pieces by James Frey, one of the best books that I have read for ages. It's about a man going through rehab

I have also just read one for my baby by Tony Parsons, its quite old though so you might have read it.

Ive also just finished The curious incident of the dog in the night-time by Mark haddon. Written from the point of view of a boy with Aespergers, its a really good read.
