There is another thread about it, i hink it is titled 'you must read this book'

sancere · 07/04/2011 16:14

Thanks, i have started the book and so far it is really compelling. Have read the other thread and the general opinion seems to be that it is a great book.

ADealingMummy · 09/04/2011 19:32

I have just finished reading this book, and it's absolutely brilliant.

sancere · 11/04/2011 18:24

Have finished it, was VERY VERY good, well worth it and needed to snuggle up to DH at times as reading it frightened me!!

LuckyWeKeptTheCot · 11/04/2011 18:32

No but that was my gran's name. So might get it just for that.

scruffybird · 11/04/2011 21:33

Just finished it, and only received it thursday! Usually take ages to read a book, but couldn't put this down.
Can we discuss it somewhere, without spoiling it for anyone who hasn't yet read it?

sancere · 11/04/2011 22:14

It sort of haunts you, i really care for Cathy (the main character) and am wondering what will happen next to her!!! Bloody mad, it all fictional.

I wish Elizabeth Haynes all the luck in the world with her future novels, she has set the bar so high with this one.

Sancere, Thank You !!!!

I read this thread, ordered book from Amazon and could not put it down..... Read it in 3 days, totally engrossed, it was frightening at times, but more intriguing than anything, i really was left wondering what would happen next.

This is Elizabeth Haynes first book, keep her in mind, she is going to be BIG!!!

CatPower · 15/04/2011 23:36

Have just ordered it - can't wait!

CatPower · 21/04/2011 13:21

I've just finished it - came home from the school run, picked up where I left last night and carried on until the very end.

What a fantastic, frightening book it is. I loved it. Felt so much for Cathy, and Sylvia in the end. I almost want to re-read it already!

It's a great book! Haven't read any scary thriller type books in ages and this has certainly drawn me back in... didn't think I was going to like it until I got to about page 10 then didn't want to stop reading for anything!
