Am half way through and it's really good so far. Interesting characters, the crime element is being revealed really gradually but cleverly I think. Just hope ending won't be a disappointment

I really enjoyed it.
Ending is good.I'll say no more.

I thought it was rubbish, one of the worse overhyped books I have ever had the misfortune to read. It was the first book that I bought on my KIndle too.

oh no, really Bluebell?, I've found it a bit compulsive so far. Read first hundred or so pages on the first evening. Keep being tempted to flick to the end but am determined to keep the suspense

Um - I think the bits about grief and the sisters' relationship very very good. I think the storyline is compellingly developed and very readable...

but ultimately I didn't buy it - without spoiling it for you - it does become too melodramatic and OTT.

But nothing wrong with that...good if quite depressing / tear-jerking piece of crime-entertainment...just not brilliant literature or scientifically realistic(IMO). Which surprised me as her hubby is obs-gyn I believe.

Read it for my bookclub, I really didnt like it but was in the minority as everyone else did.

I just didnt relate to any of the characters (despite have a sister myself) and didnt like they way it was written.

I LOVED it. Can't wait for her next book.
The thinkg I loved most was the way she portrayed the sisters' relationship, really moving.
Wasn't so keen on the crime element though was desperate to know whodunnit!

I agree with bluebell99 - very disappointing, and depressing too!

Shame as I bought it for myself and was also given it for Christmas so now have two copies!

Glad I'm not the only one who didn't like it! It was almost more disappointing because all the reviews were so positive and it was the first book I had bought on the Kindle. Just feel the whole thing was a waste of my time! I really enjoyed "The Observations" by Jane Harris tho which was the second book I have read on my Kindle.

I really liked it, but picked it up at the library and only got it out after starting reading it and wanting to finish, so had no expectations

I liked it! I found the way it was written a bit annoying to begin with but got used to it fairly quickly. I found it a great page-turner, very easy to read. Not particularly memorable but perhaps that means I'll enjoy reading it again in a few years Smile I'll be reading Rosamund Lupton's next book based on my enjoyment of Sister, I think it comes out in June.

I quite enjoyed it - I decided to read the book after hearing parts of it serialised on Radio 4.
