Started this in chat, and it was suggested I post here ... in brief, would you rather read a book by an author with initials, or a name? some female authors seem to prefer to remain genderless and I can see the appeal of that total anonmity
would you prefer to read a book by, say, C E Smith, or Cate Smith?
