for 6 yo ds. reading age is more like 10 but he doesnt like things that are too scary. all i can remember of these books is the bit about red riding hood having the pistol in her knickers so any opinions will be much appreciated

Read it a sdirty breasts.

Seem to remember my young cousin absolutley loving revolting rhymes.

Thats the only bit I remember too. something like "her eyelid flickers, she whips a pistol from her knickers"

I don't think dirty beasts is too scary - ds(6) loves it.

I think the revolting rhymes are more gruesome than scary. Does red-riding hood chop th wolf open with an axe to get grandma out?

We have the first and last ones and they've been so popular in this house they've fallen to bits and I've had to buy replacements.
