I have just finished this book and have a few questions which I thought I would throw out. :)
1 Why do you think Barker included that bit about the photo in the stairwell - when he finds that the dead guy had gone back to photograph the girl and pulled her skirt up again? I thought is was powerful and shocking to find this out about Kate's husband but it didn't seem to mean anything or lead to anything.
2 Why do you think there was that bit about Peter Wingrave being the one who found Kate first after the car crash but didn't do anything, except stand there and breathe. Again it didn't seem to lead to anything. We found out he was a bit mad but this seemed very odd.
- I found the main guy very likeable, can't remember his name ATM but I did feel a bit sick about him being 40 ish and getting it together with a 19 year old. What was that all about?
