Not a Twilight fan, but I'm amused at the idea of the academic setting. Will see - still waiting...

I really liked it until it got a bit Twilighty in the middle. I still like it, though. I was a bit disappointed to discover it was yet another series, though - I'm getting fed up of trilogies etc! I want a decent stand-alone book that winds up the story in one go! I will definitely buy the next one, though.

I looked at the Kindle sample, and I got really cranky, because there were so many noticeable little mistakes and arrogances. I think this because I actually work on manuscripts, until recently in Duke Humfrey's library, so those who don't might well love it much more. Also the hero is irritating and the library staff a mean and rather snobbish misrepresentation. I thought it was a bit of a Mary Sue, tbh.
