Does anyone read the Sookie Stackhouse mysteries, ie True Blood?

Can you help me? (spoiler alert if you've only just started)

I'm pretty sure I've been reading them in order but I've just started Definitely Dead and there's all this business about Sookie's vampire cousin Hadley being dead and killed by a vampire called Waldo. eh?

I've looked back and I can't figure out when this happened. It seems very unlike the series to have not covered a major topic like this.

Any help?!

No it was never covered in the "dead" series but I think there may have been a story about it in one of the Charlaine Harris short story books see here

Looking at this you want "bite"

It's one of the last ones in the "A Touch of Dead" short story collection.

it threw me as well until I read the other book. Thoroughly recommend it for another story too, on a par with book 4Wink

Thanks so much guys, I hate not reading a series in order. I'll look it out.

I have to say, I don't know when I've enjoyed a series more. Sookie is so likeable and well written. The books aren't intellectual but after reading one I feel like I've been hanging out in Bon Temps.

What a kind offer dyzzidi, sadly I'm still a paper girl...
