Dh has ordered me some books, they arrived today, has anyone read any of them

He chose them himself for me, and got them because I've been feeling really low and ill and crap recently.

has anyone read them, are they good?

Haven't read any of them (although the postmistress is on my wishlist) but just wanted to say that your DH sounds lovely and I wish my DH would do that... we bought a new tumble drier yesterday and he said that was my valentines present

The Val McDermid is fab - a psychological thriller - very exciting and I didn't work it out until very near the end.

My Last Duchess is a historical romance - lots of clothes and glamour - lots of fun.

Haven't read the other one.

I have read one or two of the Val Mcdermid books before, so looking forward to this one
I was impressed with his choice, I am looking forward to starting them
