Brilliant book about being a mum

Just read a brilliant book called Everything and Nothing by Araminta Hall. I saw it reviewed in Sunday Times and it hits the nail on the head about what it's like to work and have kids and all the nurosis and guilt and how your relationship suffers. Creepy read, I got through it v fast, but also sympathised with all the characters. They seemed very real to me, even though the more extreme things haven't happened to me (yet!).

By the way, am new to this site and posted something about this book on someone else's thread and then lost it, so doing it again. And what do all the abbreviations like DD mean?
Thanks.

Kids - click on 'acronyms' at the top of the page (just under Mumsnet Talk) and it gives all the abbreviations Smile

Also if you click on 'I'm on' at the top, it will show you where you have posted.

The book sounds good, - I'll add it to my 'to read' list Smile

Downloaded it on to my kindle last night and finished it this morning. Really enjoyed it and it has pulled me out of my reading drought. Thanks for the tip kidsbythesea
