Good Omens - from book to screen?

There are a couple of rumours going the rounds of the internet at the moment of the long-promised adaptation of the book coming to fruition. Though probably as a 4-part adaptation for TV.

I'm never too sure about book adaptations, but I guess if it's a good one and encourages people to read either Terry Pratchett's or Neil Gaiman's books it'll be a good thing.

I know I have a copy of Good Omens here, so I must find it to re-read.

(I have an Excel spreadsheet with all our books and their locations - trouble is, I have to first find where the heck I saved that on my computer. Grin)

This is definitely one of my favourite Gaimen books.

It will be quite interesting to see how much justice they do it.

Is it Sky, following on from doing some Pratchetts? (I'll go and read the links now...)

I just hope they get the right person to play Crowley.

I just hope they don't get David bloody Jason involved (still not happy over him playing Rincewind!)

I hope this actually happens, as it's one of my favourite books (in case you hadn't guessed :) )

So, who would you cast then? I think Marsha from Spaced (can't remember her real name, sorry) would be a very good Madame Tracey.
