The immortal life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot.
I first read a review in The Times a few months ago and thought it sounded interesting. Then saw it was one of the books in the Tv bookclub so went and bought it on friday.
Spent all day yesterday reading it. One of the the most important and thought provoking books I have ever read.
Please please please mumsnetters go and buy/borrow this book.Henrietta Lacks is a women that our dcs should be learning about.
Non-fiction book but reads easily.
