I'm trying to remember a book from years ago

it had identical twin brothers, both surgeons

very unhealthy relationship between the 2 brothers

may have been made into a film?

anyone have any ideas?

It was a film, which starred Jeremy Irons as the gynaecologists who become obsessed with a woman who has more than one set of sexual organs

Can't remember the name, but I hope it helps

The film was Dead Ringers and the book it was based on was Twins by Bari Wood.
