Book binding

I am not sure where to post this but need some advice on book binding.

My sister has just had a report printed in the US and I want to get it bound for her as a gift. I've had a look on line (googling "book binding") and the websites that come up are all cheapy thesis binding. I want something a bit more special probably.

Does anyone have any suggestions for where to go / what to ask for?

Many thanks

Where are you? I had an illustrated children's book bound (just a one off copy for myself to show potential publishers) at a place called the Wyvern Bindery in Clerkenwell, London. Here's their website. They did a beautiful job.
