This one is fanntastic because it is the very studious Sir Robin Day.

He got involved with the cult word.

It should be on Youtube. (it was on Chiles
chat prog with Uncle Frank Skinner and all

Its amusing how the C-word thing has been taken up by the jokers

It started with Jeremy MP (No friend of BBC)

then we got the phonics teaching kit getting the C-word wrong.

And now Sir Robin RIP (he was great in his day/)

Well this is fun!

GabbyLoggon · 17/01/2011 15:40

Yes, pagwatch, its fun as long as its genuine mistakes. People are going to start confusing the fun with made up mistakes.(Like they fiddled with voices on x-factor)

I am sure it is genuine. The 'don't think about an elephant ' thing....every time it happens others start thinking 'please don't let me say cunt on air' et voila

GabbyLoggon · 17/01/2011 15:50

Yes, I can see that. I once was on a very experienced broadcasters phone-in .. I said
"look Dennis, will you say Friar Tuck 20 times quickly for charity."

Quick as a flash he said "NO"

If he had been totally angelic...he would not have got it, and blazed away. Got the sack, and I would have felt guilty.

Coincidentally some months later I went to his funeral RIP Dennis M cheers "Gabby"
