Just finished this...has anyone else read it? I enjoyed it but didn't love it, and thought comparisons to Atonement were a bit much. I loved the descriptions of the Blitz and the contrast between Europe and the American town on cape cod, thought the character of Iris was underdeveloped even though she was the epoynymous one - Frankie was much more interesting and I felt it was more her story...
Would love to share thoughts on this if anyone has read it,..
