Only one I've read is Eat, Pray, Love - I really enjoyed it. Not for the "message" or anything but because she writes in a lovely, chatty, enjoyable way...

I have read 'what alice forgot', not my usual book as I normally prefer gritty thrillers, BUT I really enjoyed it. Lite reading, frothy, but I did get hooked and wanted things to turn out! (not saying anymore don't want to spoil the ending) Grin

Read "The Road home" - Rose Tremain is on Mumsnet on the 20th. It's an excellent book. Easy to read and quite engrossing.

I second The Road Home - one of my favourite books.

I really didn't like Eat Pray Love but you'll know before you've got too far whether or not it's your sort of thing.

The Road Home is brilliant - I loved it.
