i have yet to find a book with 'lending enabled'. Have you found any?

You can associate multiple Kindles to a single Amazon account - and I believe you can then resend a book you've purchased to a different Kindle - but not done that yet so can't tell you exactly how...

comewhinewithme · 08/01/2011 16:56

I think it might only be available in America ATM.

comewhinewithme · 08/01/2011 17:13

It says it will be available in UK in the next few months

ChippyMinton · 08/01/2011 17:21

I read on the US site that a book can be lent only once.

Try this link calibre-ebook.com/about

It apparently will allow you to port books across from one devise to another so may also solve your problem.

Or having looked on Amazon you can have any books you have bought on multiple different devices and their whispersync technology will ensure that your page is saved whichever devise you pick up from - can't see why this is different to multiple kindles. you download the whispersync via your Amazon account.

Thanks for the info, comewhinewithme. Just following it out of interest, but apparently you can only lend your book once, which sort of defeats the purpose? I thought a Kindle booklend/bookswap idea might be good, but this won't happen then.

Also thanks tazmosis, I like the idea of sharing books with others, not really between different devices. I have too much onfo on each device I own, and too little time!

Hmm, one of the issues I have with Kindle (and I am not anti per se) is the lack of being able to lend...

Or give to/buy from charity shops.
