It was a great win, in footie terms, a bit like Torquay beating Man U 4 nil

biggest laugh

Shayne Warne said to one of our commentators
"YOU ARE ARROGANT"

Pot and kettle comes to mind. But he was a great spinner.

We broke so many records in the series;so the OTT jubilation is justified.

How are the non-cricket fans taking it?

This is the fiction board..... I think you want 'sport or 'news'....

Chile are you sure the news here is a reality? as Dean Martin might have sung. "Little old rule checker, you." Not another parking warden on Mumsnet? Cheers "Gabby"

Gabby - it's not rule checking to direct you to another board, - just that you may get more responses elsewhere if you want a discussion.

But we all know you like to be seen as a bit of a rebel, even if it is only mischievously putting sports news on adult fiction Wink

GabbyLoggon · 10/01/2011 14:48

I am sure that is good advice Kurri. I do take the point about responses.
A bit of a rebel, me? Well, Chil1234 does often intervene in a trivial way. He/she may be much younger than me...That could be a factor.
It is funny here at one level we know each other well...at another level we dont know each other at all....I see the USA govn are
invading twitter. I wonder if Dave C is checking us out. That would not be cricket.
Mumsnet were mentioned on Any Questions? over
the Eastenders baby controversy

On reflectio Kurri

a significan minority of the posters here are sort of rebels.

The BBC said "Cameron came on Mumsnet prior to the election, looking for middle class votes."

I would think he got a few middle class kicks up the backside. "Gabby"

Actually Gabby I've no right to tell you where to post at all - so apologies - you can go wherever you like, - in fact it's quite enjoyable to see you popping up all over the board Smile
