Because you wanted to know more?

yes - and also because I'm sad it's been so good and ended. I sometimes have to leave it a good while before embarking on a new read if it's moved me a lot.

Oh yes, quite often....

vintageteacups · 03/01/2011 23:12

what book have you just read then op?

MumGoneCrazy · 03/01/2011 23:33

Melanie Rose - Could it be magic?

It was a good book, really enjoyed the storyline, although there were a few bits I wish weren't in there but it left me with too many questions HmmGrin

I've just started a new one, got a few chapters in and have realised that the author has written a series of 5 and I'm reading the 3rd one Hmm

Do I stop reading and read the first two or do I just carry on? Grin

It's the Alison Penton Harper Housewife series...I have Housewife on top.

I reckon I'd stop, read the others and then you won't be left wondering what's going on Smile

MumGoneCrazy · 03/01/2011 23:54

Very true, also some parts are a bit confusing as I dont know the back story, Off to ebay and amazon for me Smile

Yes I feel that way too, a bit sad, a bit fed up and disappointed.
I am sorry that the world I have been in has finished and I have to get back to real life.

I am feeling like that today as finished 'A Thousand Splendid Suns' by Khaled Hosseini last night. I really didn't want it to end and was left wanting to know more of what happened in their lives.

It was a really good read.

I haven't really read properly for years, i got this book a few months ago and i was hooked.
I was so looking forward to seeing what happened in the end, and then it sort of just ended! I loved the whole book up until the end.I looked to see if there was a follow on book and ended up even more dissapointed when there werent Confused

All the time! But I only ever get to the end of books I enjoy, so I never want them to end and have no qualms about stopping before the end if a book is boring me (unless I have to read it for studies or work). If you are enjoying something, do you ever want it to end?

The ending is always the hardest to write they say.
