A fanfic legend apparently. OK it is hilariously bloody awful, but I am undecided as to whether this is genuiinely the work of a silly, self obsessed teenage goth who has overdosed on Twilight and Harry Potter, or whether it's a malicious but genious-level parody.

I can't possibly concentrate on it now, but I've bookmarked it for pleasure or pain tomorrow...

Oh ffs i am always open to new things but seriously couldn't get past the first sentence! Painful Xmas Grin

TitianTinselTemptress · 19/12/2010 01:51

And WTF is the apostrophe about?????????????????????????????????? Aaargh!

TitianTinselTemptress · 19/12/2010 01:56

Oh jesus, SGB I am sure you have no idea who I am but you have always struck me as an intelligent feisty woman - I have soldiered on to the first sentence of the second 'chapter'and literally cannot bear to read any further, despite being 'birthday drunk' (abandoned by friends and family hence MNing before sleep... anywho, PAINFUL is the only word I can use!!! Sorry but you did ask :)

StuffingGoldBrass · 19/12/2010 08:14

TTT: Fair enough, but it gave me a good giggle.

Actually, a certain amount of the, er, benefit (in terms of incredulous laughter) can be obtained by clicking on the TV Tropes link which deconstructs the whole thing...

Basically, just imagine a 'Harry Potter' story in which everyone is a bisexual gothic vampire who cries tears of blood and commits suicide repeatedly. THey have also all been given ludicrous new gothic names, and go to gigs played by My Chemical Romance and Good Charlotte who, er, perform at Hogwarts.

Xmas Grin Might try to re-read it whilst sober and with that in mind!

StuffingGoldBrass · 20/12/2010 00:39

I think there is a tiny bit of me that remembers my own appalling teenage storywriting (which was, I hasten to add, nowhere near as bad as this. I can actually spell and punctuate.) and therefore finds it just a little endearing. While laughing.

It's very neo-goth Mary Jane, isn't it?

Not exactly fanfiction's finest hour, but it is held up in great esteem as a seriously effed up piece of "How Not To Write Fic"

StuffingGoldBrass · 20/12/2010 01:14

I think that's why there is something sort of to be applauded in it, it's an unashamed, not-caring-about-anyone's-opinion yowl of adolescent lechery. it's 'I want to be irresistibly gorgeous and, uh, have the money to dress like this and only meet fit bisexual gothboy vampires...' Probably written by some spotty kid who can't even afford an eyeliner pencil.

I could you raise you a worse piece but I'm not sure anyone managed to save it before it was deleted.

It was a full on explicit Dr Who threesome S&M sex romp, with all the bad words starred out.

Those were funny days.

I have read sone great ff too, but agree with team that one is in deep Mary Sue land.

LaWeaselMys · 20/12/2010 01:35

I kind of love it though.

And look! There are audio files!

pinkhyena · 20/12/2010 06:12

I got as far as her wanting to be related to gerard way because he's so hot before my cringe (and gag) reflex decided I could go no further!
