I loved the first half and was less taken by the second half. Didn't like the ending.

Overrated IMO. I thought it bland but a perfect book group book (I know 3 bg's that have done it already) as not too challenging, but reasonably thought-provoking. Mind you, I was in the minority in my BG discussion on this...

really loved this book, ripped through it in 4 days, and am gutted to have finished it. Totally surprised by the twist with the lady (cant remember her name) that Minny works for. Would reccomend highly.

Great beginning but was not happy with the ending. It is a bit 'and they all lived happily ever after. The End'. Reminded me of when I wrote an essay got bored at the end and did a rush job with the conclusion. It is as if she ran out of ideas of how to finish it.

But this should not put people off from reading it, great book, especially for middle of night when you have a poorly baby who will ONLY sleep on you. Sigh...
