Anyone read? Am half way through, pretty addictive stuff. Am not going to watch part 2 of ITV adaptation till I've finished book though!

Do you mean the book by Phillipa Gregory? If so, I've read it many times and love it!

I thought it was really bad, but can't quite remember why. I remember thinking it was a case of publishing an author's early stuff when they have been successful with the later stuff, not because it's any good. I saw Francesca Annis (sp?) is in the adaptation, though, and I like her.

I've just bought this! Never read any of her other books, I always associated her before with just historic queeny / posh lady / duchess fiction.
