Anyone read 'Room'

i loved it, anyone else?

Just finished it today and I loved it. I had to stay up late to read parts of it as I couldn't put it down. I love it when a book gets you like that.

Super, was thinking about getting this as my "Airport Book" for exiting trip to NYC next week.

Oooh, have been wanting to try it! Does anyone want to PM me so as not to spoil it for the others and let me know if the ending is, well, happy? Since having DS I really can't handle terrible things happening to children, fictional or not!

I keep hearing that it's fantastic but it just sounds so horrible that I don't think I could bring myself to read it.

Have read the first few pages. A colleague raved about it and I'm just waiting for a chance to settle down with it.

Read it you won't be disapointed.

Awesome book. I couldn't put it down. Although it's a dark subject matter, it's not written in a gratuitously dark way. It's narrated by a little boy who sees the good in pretty much everything.

i read it over two days - i even put the laptop down and read it.

it's very good - although I found the 2nd half more unsettling than the 1st, which is a little bizarre
