Where do I find a real - life book club?

I probably need to get out more - I love books so thought joining a book club would be one of the best things I could commit to that I'd actually show up for each week.

I can get to bits of London although South London's better for me, are there any MN book clubs around Clapham way that are in existence?

The WI has one

Try your local library - or failing that you could make one? We did this about 6 months ago. It's going well so far, some joiners and a couple have dropped out. Our local library gives out free book sets to groups too.
