Hang on - is this the one that ends on a cliff hanger so you have to wait for the next one to come out?

I have been avoiding this one because I cannot bear waiting so figure I'll wait until both of them are out, then get them together.

But if it's the second one, who hoo - I'm on my way to Waterstones right now.

Sidge · 13/10/2010 13:54

No no no Bling tis the new wonderful one (Worth Dying For), that followed on from the cliffhangery one (61 Hours).

Get thee to a booksellers!

I've jsut read it too.

Enjoyed it - twas better than the last one. Was cross at ending (no spoiler). Wanted arrest and humiliation.

I do love Reacher though. And still think if they did a film then Ray Stevenson might be good. <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=julieluongo.files.wordpress.com/2007/10/ray-stevenson.jpg&imgrefurl=www.littlehouseintuscany.com/extras/example_form.php%3Fnews%3DRay-Stevenson&h=400&w=301&sz=25&tbnid=GKtPIsCDpb0ztM:&tbnh=124&tbnw=93&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dray%2Bstevenson%2Bactor&zoom=1&q=ray+stevenson+actor&usg=__JlODqQ_YKoN9-qzAN-Im990SFRw=&sa=X&ei=26u1TIHPAtq5jAfwtsi-Aw&ved=0CCYQ9QEwAg" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=julieluongo.files.wordpress.com/2007/10/ray-stevenson.jpg&imgrefurl=www.littlehouseintuscany.com/extras/example_form.php%3Fnews%3DRay-Stevenson&h=400&w=301&sz=25&tbnid=GKtPIsCDpb0ztM:&tbnh=124&tbnw=93&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dray%2Bstevenson%2Bactor&zoom=1&q=ray+stevenson+actor&usg=__JlODqQ_YKoN9-qzAN-Im990SFRw=&sa=X&ei=26u1TIHPAtq5jAfwtsi-Aw&ved=0CCYQ9QEwAg

Sidge. You have no idea how happy you have made me. I do enjoy a good Lee Child. Perhaps I will see if I can get it as an ebook to read on my lovely new kindle...

Bumperlicious · 13/10/2010 14:06

never read any lee child. what sort of books are they?

BlingLoving · 13/10/2010 14:06

I love the internet. Book is purcahsed and downloading as I type.

Sidge · 13/10/2010 14:08

They're thrillers Bumperlicious, featuring an ex-Army military policeman called Reacher who likes to put the world to rights.

I recommend giving one a try. You don't have to read them in order but the earlier ones may help the later ones make sense IYKWIM.

I tried deliberately to read the latest one really slowly to extend the pleasure, but it was just too gripping.

I'm just relieved this one didn't end on a cliff-hanger too. Although I'm hoping he makes it to Virginia one day.

Sidge · 13/10/2010 19:49

LadyPeter I can't wait for the next one to see what S turns out to be/do in Virginia!!!
