Oh oh oh oh I need to reqd this when I have a minute. Had planned to reread the last one before but it has crept up on me. Actually I stalled on rereading 11 so I have one and a half to read in 10 days (am away til the 20th) I reckon I can do it. Yayayayayayayayayay

Book 12 landed on my doormat the other day, I'm still on a re-read of the whole series though so it will be another month or so I think before I can read it!

I haven't read chapter 8. I'm trying not to. Not sure why TBH Dh is rereading and hasn't read book 12 yet so I get very irritated. I need someone to talk about it too. Just reread book 12 and so much happens. Verin :( and Sheriam Eek.

I know! Was the end of book 12 Rand nearly losing the plot on dragonmount? Must reread before the next one!

I don't know. It moves so very quickly - just think how much material RJ must have left if Sanderson had to do it in 3 books despite writing at a much faster pace than RJ. I don't think he would ever have finished the series!
Yes, book 12 he 'learns to laugh' again after going nuts and nearly killing Tam.

Is that what Cadsuane had to teach him? I would like Cadsuane to meet Egwene.

Verin was going to poison her at one point then decided not to. I am thinking she is not Black?

Ch 8 didnt give that much away as such, but was enjoyable.

Cadsuane, I assumed that because Verin decided she was not a threat then she was ok, but of course it may be that she is Black but wasnt getting in Verin's way at the time. Am I over thinking this?

As far as I can tell Cadsuane isn't black.
And how to laugh is what Cadsuane had to teach him. He was becoming very dark and hard and emotionless which wouldn't be a good thing when fighting the Dark One.

I cant quite see how she did it tho. What did she do? Have I forgotten a bit?

She tgot Tam to go in and talk to him. He went a bit nuts and almost killed Tam in made a gateway to the top of Dragonmount and Things sort of got into perspective (and LTT is no longer in his head).

Tam at the end of GTS has a go at Cadsuane adn tells her she's a bully (which admittedly she is).

How odd, I remember him nearly killing Tam, but i dont remember Cadsuane's part in it at all. I dont see how she taught him any thing with that tho .

LTT no longer being in his head ruins my theory for the last book! :o

She didn't. Bringing Tam in was meant to try and get in touch with the old Rand who cared about stuff. ~Which apparetnly it did just not how she's planned.

I want to see some ends getting tied up! On book 6 of my reread and am shocked at how much I'd forgotten...

Planning to finish the reread by the time 13 arrives.

I think Branderson has a helluva lot of material to get through which is probably why his writing feels faster paced than RJs.
