Got to P263 of "Skippy Dies" and am bored - is it worth carrying on?

Hello!

Been reading Skippy Dies for what seems like an age now! I seem to be reading pages and pages with not much happening, and I kind of think I can see how it's all going to pan out.

Is it worth me perservering with the book? Are there some twists that I might not be expecting? Or shall I just put it back on the shelf (I hate leaving a half finished book...)

Having not read the book myself, but knowing what happens when i feel like this - If its getting to be an effort to read, its no longer worth doing.
