What book had you so gripped you stopped coming on mumsnet, ignored your DH and generally was so addictive that anyone who didn't know you would have thought you were a bit neglectful of your children.

I am nearly finished the Millenium series and I have noticed all of the above. It will be a sad day when I finish it and I am now trying to string it out.

for one more day by mitch albom . i sat and read it all in one go , even going so far as to take it to the toilet with me to read !!! lovely lovely unusual story .

also every time i read a new karin slaughter novel i get toatlly gripped by it .

tattoo girl by brooke stevens was an amazing read .

I started The Help on Monday and finished it last night. Literally couldn't stop reading it each night, and was exhausted every morning as a result!

I've just finished reading The Prophecy by Sarah Luddington. Dark supernatural romance type with real vampires (the ones that bite not sparkle!). Couldn't leave it alone. DH has grown a beard I've only just noticed!
