Is it wrong of me to be So SO happy that The Slap didn't make it on to the list?

He he he! Me too. I was very happy. My faith is restored! So pleased The Room made it - I still haven't recovered from reading that.

I was quite sad about David Mitchell too - he missed the short list the last time he was up too. Poor chap. He writes such cracking books too.

I really enjoyed the slap - but agree the rest of the books deserve it too.
