Anyone read Glasshopper?

Would be a great book club read I think. Was beautifully written, so moving and both narrative perspectives were equally enthralling

Oooh lovely, someone else who's read it finally. Yes, so moving. I think it would have been so easy to present the mother as a bad person for her alcoholism but the writer allows you to see her disappointment and feeling of being trapped so clearly you can't help but feel for her. Ending gave me goosebumps
