Just finished this. I cried. Alot. Thought it was bloody good though.

What is it about? Need a new read.

I loved it too. I reread it recently. V good second time round!

Not read this. Have always been put off by the fact that the only person I know who has read it (and loved it) also loved The Poisonwood Bible and A Quiet Belief In Angels, both of which I couldn't stand.

Should give it a go.

I hated Quiet Belief, Belligerent, thought it was utter trash: The Red Tent OTH is amazing!

It is a good read.

I read it before I had ever given birth though, afterwards I was really glad I lived in the time of gas and air.

One of my favourite books. Another one of her's, Last days of Dogtown is good too.
