Anyone read 'At Sea' by Laurie Graham?

She is my favourite and best author (since the sad demise of PG Woodhouse).

I'm caught in a thoroughly unrewarding cycle, it goes something like this.

I spend 1-2 years waiting for her next book, it comes out, then 2 days later (having been unable to put it down and read it despite being a mummy to three in the middle of the summer holidays) it's back to waiting!

So, my questions for suggestions/discussion are,

  1. Who might I like if I like Laurie?
  1. What did you think of 'At Sea'?

I don't know her books, but thought literature map might be helpful for you. Just put in your author's name and it will suggest others. (And click on the suggestions to get even more) Smile

It's on my pile for holidays (start tomorrow, yay!)

Who else I like: Patrick Gale, Lorna Landvik, Curtis Sittenger, Andrea Levy, Kate Atkinson - but they are not necessarily the same style, I am a bit of a book fiend...
