I started a big fat chicklit fest on holiday but had to leave the book at the place we were renting (would've added too much to the baggage allowance otherwise they said I could keep it!).
I know it was only a lighthearted read but I invested a lot of time in it and want to track it down at the library.
I know it was by one of the top chicklit names, but which one?!
The book is physically fatter than usual, I'd say twice the size of your average paperback. And was it pink?
Anyway, it's obviously all about have people ended up with the right person yadda yadda, I particularly remember a wide-boy type remeeting an old flame at the school gates and falling for her...
Any ideas? Thanks All :-)

A pink chic lit.... that narrows it down!

No idea, but hope you find it. I hate giving up a good book!

Was it a current book?

You could look on WH Smiths/Waterstones website to see if you can see it. Covers often vary in other countries though.

It might at least jog your memory about who the author was: Adele Parks, Celia Aherne, Jane Green, Marian Keyes?

Scootergrrrl · 06/08/2010 14:13

Is it Young Wives Tales by Adele Parks?

ChoccyJules · 07/08/2010 20:05

Thanks for responses so far - I know, pink chicklit, how hard can it be?!

I don't think it was that current, will go and have a look at a website to see if it's adele parks.

I went to the library yesterday to look and looked at everything in that category to no avail!

Scootergrrrl you win the prize!

Thanks, will go back to the library and get it - I think I did see it but with a different cover :-)

My ds was at nursery with Adele's ds, a good few years ago now and she had only written a few books at that point.

She is a great fun lady.

Glad the mystery has been solved Grin
