A Gathering light by Jennifer Donnelly and loved it - "unputdownable".
If you have read it and enjoyed it, what else could you recommend as my next book?

Just happened upon this thread. Yep, great book, had me sobbing through some parts, my sister brought it for me. Anyone else read it?

Oh yes, I read that last year, I really liked the descriptions of the murder case, but I wasn't that gripped by the narrator and her education issues. Apparently it was based on a true life murder case that Theodore Dreiser wrote a novel about called "An American Tragedy", which i keep intending to read!
