Yes, but a few months ago. I vaguely recall that something seemed unresolved or that the ending wasn't entirely satisfying.

I like her books though.

yes I have to admit that was the one I've liked least so far. I loved Little Face.
The unresolved thing AFAIK were what the grid of numbers was all about?

I think there was an explanation of sorts. It referred to pages in the biography, but iirc, I felt that there wasn't enough motivation for them to be sent to the film woman (fliss?). Is that what bothered you?

To be fair, I read it in the early months after ds2's was born and might have completely misread it.

I liked The Other Half Lives. And the one about the bad mother.

Will take a flick through later.
